Wondrwall App – Terms of Use



Welcome and thank you for visiting our website and/or downloading our mobile application and accessing our terms of use. We are Wondrwall Ltd (a limited company registered in England with company number 09259583), the owner of www.wondrwall.co.uk (our website) and the app (as defined below) and our trading subsidiaries, Wondrwall Insure Ltd (registered in England with company number 11020801) and Wondrwall Analytics Limited (registered in England with company number 11077377 which will act as Data Collector for our group) (‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’). These terms of use (together with the documents referred to in it) tell you the terms of use on which you may make use of our Wondrwall app (the app) and our website, whether as a guest or as a registered user whether on a ‘free to use’ basis or for fee paying services. Use of our app includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use the app, subject to limitations in respect of fee paying services.

Please read these terms of use carefully before you download, install or start to use the app whether installing for the first time or as an update, as these will apply to your use of the app. By using and or accessing the app you agree to be bound by the terms of use in their entirety. We recommend that you print a copy of the terms of use for future reference.

Your use of our website and/or the download, installation or use of the app constitutes your acceptance of these terms of use which takes effect on the date on which you download, install, upgrade or use the app. If you do not agree with these terms of use you must not use our website or use, install or download the app.

In order to use the App, you must tick the checkbox at the end of these terms to accept these terms of use. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms of use, you will not be able to use the app. This applies to any subsequent variation to these terms which we may notify to you from time to time.

The app is available free of charge to users who have purchased Wondrwall devices. Use of the devices is also subject to these terms and conditions, and any reference to the app shall be construed as including any Wondrwall devices.

We do not guarantee that the app, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to our app is permitted on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our app without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our app is unavailable at any time or for any period.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the app.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the app through your internet connection are aware of these terms of use and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.

Our app is directed to people residing in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area (EEA). We do not represent that content available on or through the app is appropriate or available in other locations. We may limit the availability of the app or any service or product described on the app to any person or geographic area at any time. If you choose to access our app from outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk.


If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party. Any breach of this obligation shall be your responsibility and Wondrwall accepts no liability for any loss or damage which may be caused as a result.

We may allow you to create, authorise and sign into your profile using a third party platform such as Amazon, Twitter or Facebook. By using third-party services to do so, you confirm that you agree to their terms of use, privacy policy and any other agreements or documents which set out the terms of your relationship with them and use of their services, which is separate from your relationship with us and your use of our app and authorise us to share your personal data with any third party website or app provider to which your account is linked. You also authorise us at any time and with any regularity to retrieve and/or receive and/or access any of your personal data held by any third party website or app provider to which your account is linked. And agree to the transmission, storage, processing and use by us of your personal data retrieved and/or received from any third party website or app provider to which your account is linked in the manner set out in our Privacy Policy. This paragraph of these terms applies in relation to personal data that is held by any third party website or app provider and that is retrieved and/or received by us or is otherwise transmitted to us and such personal data constitutes user submitted or generated content which is uploaded, posted or otherwise transmitted to us.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at hello@wondrwall.co.uk.


We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in, and related to, the app, our products and our website, and in the material published on them. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the app or our website for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your household to content posted on the app.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our app or our website must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the content on our app or our website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our app or our website in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our app will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty.

We have the right to remove any posting you make on our app or website if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.

The views expressed by other users on our app do not represent our views or values.

We do not guarantee that the app or our website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access the app and website. You should use your own virus protection software.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the app, the server on which our app is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our app. You must not attack our app via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. You must not attempt to adapt, vary or reverse engineer any of our software. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our app will cease immediately.


You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link to our app in any website or other communication.

Our app must not be framed on any other app, nor may you create a link to any part of our app other than the home page.

The Wondrwall app utilises location data to enhance user experience and provide personalised features. Please review the following details regarding the use of location information:

How we use location:

We use device location to determine whether a user is within a home. This information is crucial for enabling specific features contributing to a smarter and more efficient home environment.

Features using location in the background:

Occupancy-based Heating: Adjusts heating settings based on occupancy.
Home Energy Management: Optimises energy usage by considering occupancy status.
Smart Security: Adapting security settings based on user location.
Smart Scene Swapping: Allows for easy transitions between different home scenes.

Important Note:

Without the active use of location services, the functionality of these features will be limited. Enabling location services ensures that our app can deliver the full range of benefits, providing a smarter and more personalised home experience.


In compliance with personal data and privacy regulations, Wondrwall users have the right to request deletion of their personal data associated with Home registration and use.
To delete the data, you need to delete all information of the house from the Wondrwall application.

To delete location data, follow these steps:

Open and login to the Wondrwall application;
Open side menu, Devices;
Select Master Smart Switch;
Select “i” (device detail screen);
Select “Delete Device” at the bottom;
If you don’t know which Smart Switch is master you can delete them one by one;
When Master Smart Switch is deleted all information about user’s house will be deleted too.

To delete account data, follow these steps:

Delete all house data by procedure described above;
When the last house is deleted user account data will be deleted too.


These terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these terms of use, their subject matter or formation.
